British Antimonopoly Service Gets Down to Retail Banks

Office of Fair Trading (OFT), Great Britain, a part of the Department of Trade and Industry of the country (DTI), threatens to submit the case of incomes of the British banks made on private persons’ current accounts to the Competition Commission, if the credit and financial establishments do not justify the existing system of commissions and do not change their attitude to consumers’ interests.
