eKarmon and Paynet Develop Charity in Uzbekistan
The first online-charity project Ehson, developed by eKarmon Group, Internet payment system (Uzbekistan), was launched on December, 2008.
Ehson targeted at gratuitous help to distressed and socially hurtable population groups. Until recently charity activity was available only for eKarmon system users. eKarmon subscribers could transfer money from their e-purses to electronic accounts of charity funds, orphanages, boarding-schools, homes for elderly, etc.
Currently, due to eKarmon Group and Paynet payment system partnership every citizen of Uzbekistan can donate to these organizations at any Paynet’s payments acceptance point or any commercial bank connected to Paynet or eKarmon system.
