Absa Bank, which belongs to British Barclays Bank, has launched the first in the Republic of South Africa Visa debit card intended for the unbanked consumers. In the opinion of the bank’ management, the above prepaid product will become an alternative to cash and checks. The card will also be handy for persons with irregular incomes.
