Symantec Corporation announced the results of the second quarter of 2009, which ended on October 3, 2008. Its income in the quarter, calculated by GAAP book keeping standards, amounted to 1518 billion US dollars, while its non-GAAP income equaled to 1523 billion dollars, which is 6 % more, than in the same period of the previous year.
