According to Anatoly Aksakov, member of the State Duma Committee for Financial Market, the State Duma of the
Russian Federation will consider on first reading a bill on consumer credit in March, 2009. The document specifies the rights and responsibilities of borrowers and lenders, expands the rights of the borrower to obtain complete information on the cost of credit, as well as determine the conditions of a denial from it.
