The number of purchases made with use of Internet acquiring system of the Ukrainian processing center (UPC), for 8 months of 2009 has increased in 2.3 times: from 884,000 to 2 million transactions.
According to UPC, incomes of Ukrainian online shops have grown for a year by 130 percent.
At present, UPC serves 600 online shops, which use its Internet acquiring solution. During 2009 167 merchants (online shops) have been connected to the system.
UPC serves more than 10.8 million payment cards, 36,700 РОS-terminals and more than 7,000 ATMs on Ukrainian market. UPC processes 36 million purchase transactions per month.
