How to expand client base and to increase sales?
On September, 24, in Petrovsky hall of Moscow AEROSTAR business-hotel the first Russian forum “Russian gas stations and payment technologies 2009” has taken place. It was devoted to the topical problems of gas station business in Russia, ways of solving problems of client base expanding and sales increasing as well as to development prospects of self-service gas station networks accepted all kind of payments: cash, cards of international payment systems and fuel company cards.
The Forum was held by PLUS journal. Visa Inc. was the title sponsor and NCT Company – the official one. The Forum had also a wide range of partners, including Hypercom, VeriFone, INPAS, UniTeller, SCON, ScanTech, Terminal Technologies and Hectronic.
The basic theme of the Forum was the role and the place of fuel companies, banks and international payment systems, telecommunication companies, integrators and other operators of the market in the gas station automation process.
The Forum gathered representatives of Foreign-based and Russian fuel companies, largest banks-acquirers, and also leading vendors of this field together.
In total 14 speeches were presented at the Forum and each of them attracted appreciable interest of the participants. Thus, each participant was able to ask questions to the speakers.
Also participants of the Forum visited a mini-exhibition, where leading global and Russian vendors such as Hypercom, SCON, ScanTech, Terminal Technologies and NCT demonstrated their technological solutions for automation of the gas station and payment acceptance.
