Russian President in his Message to the Federal Assembly for the first time has touched upon the issue of bank cards. Just talking about the plans of technological development of the country and modernization of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, in particular, has declared the pilot project on introduction of the social cards, which help to provide the holders with access to state services and facilitate their participation in medical and social insurance programs, will be started shortly.
“Further it is possible to combine them with electronic cards, provided an access to bank products, including making both obligatory and other payments by citizens,” – the President noted.
