During 2009, 29 Russian banks have concluded contracts on cooperation with URALSIB Bank. The contract covers its support in issue and service of the international cards and sponsor's support in the international payment systems.
As a bank-sponsor in Visa Inc. and MasterCard Worldwide payment systems, URALSIB provide its new partners with an opportunity to issue international cards with their own design, to work with merchants, to establish АТМs and terminals in cash points.
As of December, 2009, the network of АТМs and terminals in cash points of URALSIB Bank and its banks–partners has totaled more than 5,200 ATMs and more than 4,300 terminals. The whole number of POS terminals, established in merchants by URALSIB Bank and its partners, exceeds 28,000 devices. The total card issue of the Bank and its partners has exceeded 4 million pieces.
