The new airport in Sochi is equipped to check biometric passports

Check–points  of the new airport complex in Sochi in February of 2010 will be in the test mode, but from March – in full operation.

The international check–point in the new building of the Olympic capital’s airport includes 21 posts of passport control, equipped to work with biometric passports. According to Oleg Motov, Head of Rosgranstroy, they’ve used all innovations which exist and correspond to the international standards.
