On the eve of New Year's holidays the National Agency for Financial Studies (NAFS) has submitted the results of its poll of Russians concerning banks’ New Year actions.
According to the poll, almost half of the Russians using banking services think, that New Year action is just a kind of advertising and believe that conditions are not more favourable than usually (45% in 2009).
27% of respondents consider New Year actions as courtesies but do not see any special benefit in it.
14% of respondents consider any holiday marketing actions of banks as a good possibility to take advantage of more favourable conditions.
This poll has been hold in December, 2009 and it has covered 1,600 respondents from 140 settlements throughout Russia.
