Following the results of the open tender URALSIB Bank and Social Security Department of Ivanovo region have concluded the state contract on servicing Social card project for Ivanovo region residents by the bank in 2010.
Within the terms of this contract the bank will issue Social cards for Ivanovo region residents, support them and develop new applications, increasing their functionality. In particular, it is supposed to develop a tax application to inform cardholders about their tax obligations and enable them to pay taxes, and a pension application to provide them with the information on the funded part of the pension.
URALSIB has participated in implementing the Social card of Ivanovo region project since 2008.
By now, more than 157,000 social cards are issued and distributed to Ivanovo region residents, and these cards are accepted as a payment tool in all kind of transport of the region. Every month about 2.4 million trips are paid by social cards.
