In 2009 Ukrainian Processing Center (UPC, Kiev, Ukraine) was constantly developing and launching new projects. The number of ATMs, connected to UPC, has increased from the beginning of 2009 by 4%, and reached 7,339 machines. At present, UPS also serves 37,950 POS–terminals, it’s by 22% more than in 2008. The number of ATMs in the united network ATMoSphere has grown by 9%: today it totals 2,556 machines.
Banks – UPC clients – has decreased by 5.6% (up to 10.3 million) the amount of active payment cards issued. The number of processed transactions has also fallen down by 2%, up to 402.2 million.
Today, 787 shops are already connected to UPC. And, it’s by 82% more than in 2008.
