In December, 2009 IBA company has supplied BPS–BANK with new models of wall–mounted information and transaction terminals (ITT) IBA Payment Terninal РТ230 with IBA Kiosk software. In January, 2010 such terminals have been established at stations of the Minsk underground.
By means of the established terminals it is possible to carry out a wide spectrum of payments on a bank card: to pay housing-and-municipal services, services of operators of mobile and wire communication and many other things, and also to extinguish the credit, to fill up the deposit, to execute transfers from one cards-accounts on another.
The main difference of these terminals from others, used in Belarus, is the contactless card reader, that further will enable card holders to fill up their travel cards of new generation by the bank card. Card holders will be able to use their contactless cards as travel ones in all kind of public transport. From this March passengers of Minsk municipal transport will be able to assess the advantages of the unified electronic travel card.
