In 2009 Kazkommertsbank (Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan) issued by 7.14% cards as much as a year ago. As of January 1, 2010, the total volume of bank’s card issue reached 1,141 million cards. Within this period the number of card holders grew by 7.4%, up to 1.034 million customers.
The number of non–cash payments in 2009 increased by 10.7% and totaled 5,099 million transactions, and the number of cash withdrawing operations grew by 5.2%, up to 13,995 million transactions.
Kazkommertsbank issues Visa and MasterCard cards. And also it is the only independent AmEx issue and acquiring operator in Kazakhstan.
