Technical experts of PrivatBank (Kiev, Ukraine) have developed an alternative to traditional POS–terminals for private entrepreneurs. Thanks to the novelty small and medium merchants, and also almost every interested person now have an opportunity to accept non–cash  payments made by cards without any additional investments into the expensive equipment.

To accept payment cards (credit or debit) it is necessary, that the seller and the buyer have mobile phones and a card. LiqPay payment system provides processing.

The layout looks as follows: the seller sends an SMS with the invoice on the buyer’s phone, the buyer sends back SMS with the number of the card. The system authorizes the payment and transfers the sum to the seller’s account.

And in the future it is expected to introduce an option of receipts printing.
