Sellers of the world’s largest online marketplace eBay and some foreign Internet shops are about to stop selling Russians any goods. It’s caused by the fact that from the beginning of 2010 the delivery time in Russian Post has increased from 2 weeks up to 2 months. An open letter about delivery problems with Russian Post appeared last week on ebay-forum.ru. According to its authors, from January, 2010 the quality of Russian Post’s services has sharply gone down.
As it’s noticed in the letter, many eBay sellers had to turn down Russian customers, because, according to eBay rules, the items should be delivered to the buyer within 30 days from the moment of payment acceptance.
The press–office of Russian Post has admitted that now in the international post exchange office of Moscow there happen to be “incidents with untimely processing of the international mail sent from abroad”.
