From April till July of 2010 in Dubna (Moscow region) a pilot “Social
card for Moscow region resident” project will be implemented. Then it's
planned to test the social card in Odintsovo. And the full–scale issue
of Social cards for Moscow region resident will start in 2011.
This Social card project was launched in 2005.
Initially the social card was used only as the travel card for the social security beneficiaries, now its functionality is expanded due to adding of tax, transport, discount and bank applications.
