Card fraud losses in Russia are less than worldwide

According to Andrey Korolev, President of Russian Europay Members’ Association, the statistics shows that card fraud losses in Russia at present approximately by 4.5 times as less as in the world in average. 

In 2009 in Russia there were only 60 skimming device installations on ATMs. For comparison: in Europe on each 1,000 ATMS there are 40 such installations, and in Russia this figure is only 0.7 yet.
