New facility in Tianjin strengthens services for Asian
customer base
NXP
Semiconductors announced the opening of the RFID Application and System Center
(ASC) in Tianjin, China. This NXP facility provides
real-life conditions for evaluating and optimizing RFID applications and is the
first of its kind in Asia. It will enable
NXP‘s Identification business to strengthen the technical support provided to
the company’s customers in China and throughout Asia. These dedicated RFID
technical services will help partners to optimize their RFID applications to
help further the development of their products for the expanding domestic and
global markets.

we‘ve been successfully running a similar RFID Application and SystemCenter
in Graz, Austria. The opening of NXP RFID
Application and SystemCenter in Tianjin is
the extension of this effort in China
and throughout Asia."

2 facility in Tianjin
is providing label customers, system integrators and end users with customized
antenna design; Read/Write Device optimization; customized RFID test
environments for fashion, medical, logistics, warehousing, industrial
production and animal identification application systems. Within the center,
NXP has created a number of experimental environments for different RFID
applications, including electronic certificates, secure payments and energy
monitoring. The NXP RFID Application and SystemCenter
offers advanced experimental and test equipments, capable of providing label
design and label product performance analysis, to assist in the development of
fully optimized solutions.
