A year ago Barclays Bank was the first bank in Russia to issue World MasterCard cards. Barclays Premier --the division that works with privileged customers of Barclays Bank--has analyzed the data accumulated during this year.

As of today Barclays Premier offers two types of privileged cards  - World MasterCard  and MasterCard World Signia that entitle its holders to access an exclusive club system of banking services.

Currently over 3,200 customers of Barclays Bank are holders of World MasterCard cards issued by the bank. Over 60% of such card holders are less than 40 years old, meanwhile 20% are under 25.

At this date the bank has issued over 400 MasterCard World Signia cards - and over 62% of card holders are aged less than 40.
