According to Vladimir Dmitriev, the Chairman of Vnesheconombank the project of the post bank establishment will be the largest in the next few years.

«Many people in this country have a limited access to the quality banking services due to the considerable regional disproportions of the offer. As a matter of fact millions of people are out of the banking system” – said V. Dmitriev in his interview to the Russian Post magazine.

As Mr. Dmitriev said, it’s a very relevant objective to increase availability of banking services. “20-25% of the population have time bank deposits, less that 30% use consumer loans and only 3% use mortgage loans” – noticed the Chairman of Vnesheconombank. He also admitted that the banking network is being developed mostly in the cities, mostly in administrative centers.

According to Mr. Dmitriev, preliminary launch of the project is scheduled on January 1, 2011 with 3 years for its development.
