Armeconombank (Yerevan, Armenia) is going to join Visa International Payment system as a principal member. According to the Head of Plastic Cards Department of Armeconombank Vardan Egiazaryan the bank has already provided Visa with all needed documents. At the next meeting in the middle of July Visa will discuss the perspective of possible cooperation with Armeconombank.
Mr. Egizaryan noticed that after the cooperation is approved the bank would start issuing Visa cards before the end of 2010.
