Since the
beginning of 2010 the State Commercial People Bank (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) put
238 thousand cards in circulation. As of June 1, 2010 the total number of cards
issued by the bank reached 608,7 thousand.
Since the
beginning of this year the number of transactions made with People Bank cards
exceeded 11.8 mln and the total volume of transactions is 280.2 bln sums (USD
174. 6 mln).
The bank’s
acquiring network consists of 7 235 POS-terminals, including 445 installed in
banks and 6 790 – at the merchants.
