
As a part
of Retail Market Monitoring program the company Profi Online Research analyzed
factors people in Russiatake into account while choosing bank to get a credit card.
According to
the research as of the end of 2009 19% of 7.1 thousand respondents had credit
cards. The key factors that define the choice are the service charges.
The research
has shown that Moscow respondents more often pay attention to the number of cash
deposit terminals (65% in Moscow vs 51% in the regions), option of getting the card
without visiting the banking outlets (28% vs 22%), grace period (72% vs 65%) and
the card design (11% vs 7%).
In the regions
people pay more attention to the credit limit size (79% of respondents), interest
rates and early repayment option.
