On June 30,
2010 BPS-Bank (Minsk, Belarus) and American Express company signed an agreement
on cooperation. Within the frames of this agreement BPS-Bank will start
acquiring of American Express cards at the merchants of the Republic of
Belarus.
According
to the agreement BPS-Bank will be an exclusive American Express acquirer and
processing center in Belarus. It will also manage all the aspects of merchant acquiring:
from payments to settlement, including marketing activity. As a result American
Express cardholders will get access to BPS-Bank ATM network in Belarus.
