company Rostelecom accepted and processed more that 120 thousand registration
requests from Russian citizens willing to get a personal account at the state
services portal (gosuslugi.ru). All those requests were made in the first three
months since the “personal account” service was introduced at the portal (April
1 – July 1, 2010).
According to
Rostelecom more than 90 thousand users have already activated their accounts and
became authorized users of the portal. Today authorized users can not only get information
about more than 360 services provided by the state authorities but also send
e-orders to get those services via electronic channels.
Rostelecom reports that
200-700 thousand users visit the state services portal every month and its pages are being viewed
2-7 mln times.
