Since 2011 the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set limit of daily currency withdrawal at the ATM in the equivalent of 5 thousand grivnas (USD 632).
«The sum of the foreign currency to be withdrawn at the ATM on the territory of Ukraine using the special payment tool cannot exceed the equivalent of 5 thousand grivnas a day calculated using the official exchange rate set by the NBU at the date of payment», sais NBU rule N 23 dated April 30, 2010.
By this document NBU also obliged banks after the 1st of January 2012 to inform cardholders of the service fees rate right before the payment.
