The specialists of the company Profi Online Research held a quarterly
research to find out what our fellow citizens think about internet banking. The
results show that this service is getting increasingly popular among Russian
people and internet banking is more important for the debit cards cardholders.
The participants were asked to choose seven parameters they consider the
most important out of number of factors that are being considered while
choosing a bank. More than a quarter of the respondents named internet bank an
important factor.
45% of the respondents find access to the internet bank important when
they get a debit card.
Almost the same number of the respondents that are going to get a credit
card take into account internet banking availability – 39%.
Most of the respondents that mentioned
internet banking availibility as an important criteria that their bank should
meet are the clients of Sberbank (43%). Alfa Bank is way behind Sberbank, at
the second place of the rating (9%). The third place has VTB 24 (7%).
