According to the Ukrainian processing center (UPC), the Ukrainian market of payment cards reached stable rate of development. The number of transactions per one card a month as of today is 4, while a year ago this average number was about three transactions.
In the first 7 months of 2010 the number of transactions processed by UPC increased by 7% in comparison to the same period of the last year and equaled 250 mln transactions. In July 2010 the growth was 10% in comparison to June 2010.
The number of ATMs of the banks-clients of UPS increased by 2% during the year. There are 7618 ATMs registered in UPS systems. Besides there was 12% growth of the number of POS terminals. The UPS client banks now own more than 40 thousand of them.
