In the beginning of August BINBANK and SDM-Bank announced launching a service for small and medium business: self-deposit that allows not to call CIT operators or to visit bank office to deposit cash to the account. Before only Master-Bank and Alfa-Bank offered this service.
In the nearest future Sberbank of Russia is going to offer the same service to its clients. VTB 24 also considers depositing cash via ATMs in 2011. Bank URALSIB now started pilot project of cash depositing via ATMs.
This service is oriented to the small and medium business. The major clients don’t need this kind of service because you can only about 100 bills at once.
