According
to the National Bank of Georgia
the volume of money transfers to Georgia in July 2010 was USD 81 mln,
which is by USD 1.6 mln (2%) more than in July 2009.
According to the bank 59.6% of the total amount of transfers – USD 48,3
mln was made from Russia.

USA last month was USD 6.2 mln;
from Greece – USD 4.5 mln;
from Italy
– USD 4.3 mln. In July 78% of transfers to Georgia from abroad were made from
these countries.
The amount of transfers made from Georgia abroad in July 2009 reduced
from USD 7.1 mln to USD 6.3 mln.
