T2 to launch its own payment card
The Russian mobile operator will launch its own payment product – T2 card. The operator is already developing client scenarios and front facilities. The Paygine fintech company will be the technology partner of T2. The cooperation agreement between them was signed in the summer of 2025.
"The T2 card will be powered by a BaaS solution. We believe Paygine, our technology partner, is the most effective and successful company working with this technology. Our first payment product will be available to T2 clients next year,” said Elizaveta Guseva, Director for Financial and Innovative Services Development at T2. She added that the companies are already in the main development phase. The operator is working on all possible customer scenarios and front facilities. Paygine will be responsible for the technical implementation and launch of the T2 card within the mobile app.
“We are implementing the entire customer journey ourselves. Financial services and corporate products are in a single app, so we must take into account the entire subscriber experience we've built for interaction within the operator's network,” said Elizaveta Guseva. The technical implementation of the T2 card will be completed in 2026, when all the operator's subscribers will be able to use the new convenient product to pay for services.
