“Financial Robin Hood” Sentenced in UK

On September 20, 2008, Benedict Hancock, former TOP-manager of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), was sentenced by the Royal Court of Blackfriars, London, to 1.5 years of prison for forging of documents and abuse of power. As investigation found out, during a long period of time B.Hancock illegally withdrew money from the accounts of RBS clients - legal persons, and transferred it to the accounts of the firms which, in his opinion, had financial problems.
