Volume of Bad Debts in China Declines

In the first quarter of 2008 the volume of bad debts in five largest state commercial banks of China was 1.1 trillion yuans (158 billion dollars), or 1.88 % less than in the first quarter of 2007. The share of bad debts in these banks equaled to 91 % of the national volume.
