Western Union: New Tariffs for Money Transfers from Russia to CIS Countries
Since June 15, 2009, Western Union changes tariffs for money transfers from Russia to all CIS countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine) by simplifying structure of pay scale.
New tariffs make the most popular ranges of transferred sums more moderate for Western Union’s clients in Russia.
New pay scale both in RUR and USD provides significant reducing of fee for transfer mainly from Russia to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Currently the cost of transferred RUR 5,000 to these countries amounts to only RUR 150 (except of RUR 250), and the cost of transferred RUR 25,000 is RUR 600 (except of RUR 800 before).
