Sweden's Precise Biometrics is to participate in a European Union-funded secure identity management project – Turbine (TrUsted Revocable Biometric IdeNtitiEs). The biometric technology developer will receive a SEK 5.7 million (US$1 million) grant from the project. Other participants in the project include Philips Research Europe, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and GjС?vik University College.
