NXP Produces the Highest-Speed Cellular Modem in the World

NXP Semiconductors Company announced its Nexperia Cellular System PNX6910, the highest-speed broadband cellular program modem in the world. The PNX6910 solution based on an embedded vector processor (EVP) from NXP Company supports data transmission speeds up to 150 Mbit/sec in a reception mode and up to 50 Mbit/sec in a transmission mode, and also a multi-mode operation in LTE/HSPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks.
