The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev offered to introduce the commoncurrency 'euraz' for Eurasian Economic Community countries. He supposes that this currency rate would not depend on world currency fluctuations.
“New currency system will allow making stable long-term infrastructure investments and operational current transactions”, noticed Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Grigory Marchenko, said during the Internet-conference on financial portal Bnews.kz that the commoncurrency 'euraz' could be introduced within 8-10 years.
