04-08-09 Bank of Moscow has implemented the project for acquiring of CUP cards
Bank of Moscow has implemented the project for acquiring China UnionPay (CUP) cards. Now CUP cardholders can get cash in all АТМs of the bank. These cards have limits for а single cash withdrawal — 10,000 roubles (300 US dollars), but no additional commission for it.
Pavel Gorbatsevich, vice-president and a member of the board of Bank of Moscow, has noted: “According to China UnionPay payment system, in 2008, more than 1 million Chinese tourists and businessmen visited Russia. So, we are sure that this new service will be called for. And we plan a following stage of the project — to get acquiring China UnionPay cards in the merchant network of the bank.”
