Peter Prokopovich, the chairman of the Board of the National bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB) has declared at its press-conference in Minsk, that NBRB intends to continue dedollarizing the economy.
He has also noticed, that “there is no need to issue mortgage or any other loans in foreign currency". “January, 1, 2011 is an intermediate stage and then we’ll see what to do”, – Prokopovich said.
The chairman of the National bank of Belarus, has also underlined, that there are no restrictions on currency exchange transactions in exchange offices now as well as in the future.
