GUANGZHOU, China —
World Brand Lab has ranked GRG Banking Equipment Co. Ltd. among
the top 500 most valuable brands in China for 2009.
According to a news
release, World Bank made the announcement after analyzing GRG's
enterprise financial reports, market value and brand recognition.
GRG ranked in the
359th place, with a value of RMB 2 billion (U.S. $29 million), making
it the only company in the financial self-service industry to make
the list. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China topped the
list, followed by China Grid, CCTV, China Mobile and China Life
Insurance.
