Department for Radio Electronics Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has held a meeting which is called “Results and prospects of electronic components base developing and manufacturing in Russia” at Mikron factory, the head part of SITRONICS Microelectronics business division. Representatives of leading Russian design centers, radio electronics developers, specialized research institutes, including NIIMA Progress, Module (scientific and technological center), NIIET, MIET and others took part in this meeting.
Jury Borisov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, opening the meeting, has underlined that “Mikron has assimilated the technology which is rated among world class production technologies and enables to produce wide range of products. Our task is to develop such mechanisms, which provides all conditions for manufacturing all those products which can be manufactured at Russian plants.”
At the meeting Mikron has expressed its readiness to be a foundry and accept orders from design centers. And participants have made some recommendations on the list of technologies for Mikron to be mastered for providing Russian radio electronics enterprises with the up–to–date electronic components.
