Currency.com, а сryptocurrency platform headquartered in Belarus, has announced that it is not going to place any limits on clients from Russia and Ukraine.

“Restrictions may be introduced by individual American platforms. In general, the crypto industry has always tried to separate itself from what is happening in politics,” the company said.

Currency.com is not going to suspend the provision of services against the backdrop of tougher sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union. Representatives of the platform assured that crypto exchanges “will be the last financial institutions to refuse services to Russian citizens.” They also believe that the crypto industry should not cater to the interests of politicians.

On the morning of February 24, a military operation of the Russian Ministry of Defense began in Ukraine. This affected the stock markets, which showed a fall. Bitcoin also fell in price – down to USD 34 thousand for the first time in six months.
