MTS gives start to car sales

MTS announced the start of sales of AITO SERES M7 hybrid cars in the ecosystem's flagship showroom, located in the Galeria shopping center in St. Petersburg, in partnership with the car distributor MB RUS. The partners are mulling potential scaling of the project to other regions of Russia. 

As part of the project, the MTS showroom acts as a platform for demonstrating cars. Customers can have a look at the cars, get detailed advice from a specialist, arrange a test drive at any AITO SERES dealership location, and make a purchase. 

“We test various sales formats regularly, offering our clients a new customer experience. The joint project with MB RUS is a pioneer project in Russia for selling cars in mobile phone shops. Similar formats have already proven themselves in other countries. We see customer interest in this format already. The showroom traffic has increased by a quarter since the project start, and we have already sold the first car. If the project succeeds further, we will think about online sales as well,” comments Andrey Gubanov, CEO of the MTS retail chain.
