In 2022, the Russian economy is faced with colossal challenges that require prompt adaptation of all processes to the new reality. A large window of opportunity is opening up for producers of domestic goods and services who are ready to replace imported analogues in a short time. Meanwhile, well-established supply chains are being destroyed, and access to foreign investment and technology is being restricted. Therefore, the joint effective work of the state and business is important as never before.

“Stronger business partnerships based on intensified ties between various business sectors and a productive dialogue on improving the business climate in Russia become evermore crucial. I am sure that the SPIEF venue will open up new opportunities and vectors of interaction,” said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.

At the Forum, business representatives will formulate proposals on the effective transition to a sustainable economic development model that ensures the preservation of the environment. They will discuss forms of interaction between private business and defense industry enterprises, mechanisms for government incentives intended for large private companies and defense enterprises involved in joint investment projects, as well as issues of high-tech product development, taking into account the potential of defense complex enterprises, in the interests of private business.

The 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on June 15–18, 2022.

Registration of media representatives ends on May 13, 2022.
