Russia and Venezuela are considering possible adoption of Mir cards

We are studying the possibility of organizing the acceptance of Russian national payment instruments in Venezuela. Currently, the technical integration of the Mir payment system is underway with a Venezuelan bank involved.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Earlier it became known that the US Office for Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) had allowed banks in Kazakhstan to process transactions of individuals using payment cards of the Russian Mir system.
