Every second item of the most popular retail products was received remotely by VTB clients in January 2022. The share of digital sales in January compared to the same period last year increased by 12 p.p. - from 37% to 49%, while the average daily figure rose from 54% to 60%.

The share of deposits, which clients made online in January amounted to about 65% (+24 p.p. compared with January 2021), digital loans - 38% (+15 p.p.), online on-demand deposits - 50% (+10 p.p.).

In January, users entered VTB Online or Internet Banking applications five times a week (+21%) on average. Clients actively receive products, make payments and transfers, check account balances, order reference data and send applications for public services.

“Switching to “remote working”, many clients prefer to solve all everyday financial issues using digital services, so the volume of digital sales is steadily growing. This is more convenient and safer, especially during the new “wave” of coronavirus. Additional customer protection is of primary importance to us, and we are ready to expand the volume of our remote services, increasing the limit for VTB Online to 500,000 simultaneous sessions. It is important that not only existing VTB clients, but also all Russians can receive services in the mobile application by connecting to a “light version” of our mobile bank, registering in no time and making the usual transactions up to 15 thousand rubles,” said Nikita Chugunov, Head of VTB's Digital Business, Senior Vice President.
