Alfa-Bank to launch e-commerce platform

(no votes)

Alfa-Bank will launch a new line of business — it will integrate the bank's technological solutions for e-commerce on a single platform. The special feature of the new platform is the use of artificial intelligence for the instant selection of a tailored offer based on hundreds of thousands of parameters.

Besides, the sellers will enjoy reliable protection of their data, financing for development from an expert bank in the SME segment, as well as full support with turnkey business services. But the key point is the opportunity to develop your own brand within the platform. This will allow the business to be closer to its customers through the direct-to-customer brands support. In addition, this will make it possible to quickly introduce innovations, reduce marketing costs and effectively attract customers.

One of the first services offered by the new platform will be a cashback platform — a tool for small and medium-sized businesses that helps to attract customers using the CPA model.

Individual clients will benefit from a convenient process for purchasing a wide range of goods and services — from booking hotels and tickets to equipment, a profitable loyalty system and flexible payment methods. The new platform will include the BNPL service of the bank's partner Podeli — a convenient deferred payment tool embedded into the banking application. Alfa-Bank was the first to offer such a solution on the fintech market.

The online platform will be a logical development of Alfa-Bank's strategy in the field of technology, partnerships and super service. It will also strengthen the company's position as a leader in digital solutions for businesses and individuals.

The new business line will be headed by Dmitry Sokolov, SVP, e-commerce platform director, who previously developed loyalty programs and non-financial services at Alfa-Bank.
