Most Russians plan no loans to take in near future

(no votes)

As few as 8% are considering taking out a loan in the next two or three months. This was shown by a survey conducted by the NAFI research center in April 2022, in which 1,600 people over 18 years old from 53 regions of Russia took part.

The willingness to take out a loan was most often demonstrated by respondents aged 18 to 24 (12%), while least often – by Russians aged 55 and older (6%). Men shared their plans to take out a loan almost twice as often as women (10% versus 6%, respectively).

Among the loans most popular among Russians are consumer loans for large purchases, construction or renovation, and purchasing a car.
